Howdy there y'all!
After much searching and saving, i have finally acquired my own flintlock! It's a day I've been itching for, and now I've hit another wall. I have nowhere to shoot! I've been trying to find a gun club or range that I'd be able to practice at, as well as learn more of flintlock operation and care from an experienced person who knows more than myself. However it seems most clubs aren't taking new members, and most ranges have quite expensive year-long memberships that just aren't in my budget.
I know things are awkward for everyone with the Covid-19 business going about, but i was curious if anyone in the area would be willing to take me on for a shoot if they own the respective land and are willing to teach someone who is a little more greenhorn than most. I'm willing to put in a hard day's labor as a matter of repayment, especially if i can learn from it.
Even if someone can point me in the direction of a good northern, general use crown land location/area i could make an expedition out to for an evening i would be greatly appreciative.
