Hi,
I'm brand new to hunting, looking for someone or a group willing to
Take on a newbie for deer And turkey. If there is someone that is
Willing to show me the ropes let me know.
I've got some equipment and don't mind pulling my weight to learn.
Cheers

Sorry, more specific Hamilton/Kitchener/London.
Anything within 1.5 hours.
Currently I have been trying in haldimade county outside haggersville

Get yourself a hunting area first, you can do the hunting alone with a little literature research.

Try Hullet near Clinton. The place thats been in the news the past few days. You can walk the trails for pheasant,duck/goose,small game, turkey and deer.Theres also a shooting range. Its also free to use.

Never been there yet (heard it is packed during hunting season - was I wrongly told?). There is actually a shooting range on public land?!? I've never heard this before and neither is it listed on their website. When you say range, what are we talking about here? Any pictures?

During the first few days of duck/goose/pheasant season its fairly busy but after that not so much and the later in the season it gets the less people there are. There is abit of a shooting range there.Maybe 50yds on the south end of the area.I wouldnt worry about walking around with avun there as long as you are following the rules and your t's are crossed and I's are dotted.Thats what the area is predominately used for.Its a nice area and hunters are lucky its there to use.

Sounds like a great way to start! Problem is, that recent shooting death in clinton is kind of scary, at least until more details are available.
