Southern SK Pheasants?

Heading down to see the family this weekend, are there still lots of birds around the Gravelbourg/Lafleche area? I heard upland got hit hard by the drought this year but other people have said not so much.

There are a few pockets of birds here and there, I took a few and left the rest for seed. Not a good year to shoot an area down to the last few survivors, but there are enough to hunt.

The eastern side of SK is in much better shape then the west side.

Yeh did Gravelbourg and Lafleche and around Woodrow. Only seen one pocket of birds, hit 1 and he went into thick cover and we lost him

Ive hunted southern SK and did quite well but if you dont have a dog it can be alot harder to get on the big roosters.
