Dont know if anyone checked out our sponsors up top, but after cruising around I found these bad boys from ArmsEast. Wish I knew about these before I bought my ar. Ah well, live and learn. I'll just tack one on my 20 gun wishlist.

Those aren't Lefty's they are just fancy digital tricks with a mirror. You know like putting an overhead on upside down. ;) ;)

I do find it somewhat interesting that there is the shell deflector on these models. I thought the original intention for this was to allow for Lefties to shoot the regular ones. I guess they figure it is just as reasonable to engineer it so that they can be fired right handed just as easily. Someone must have been thinking.

All the lower controls are still in place for right handed people.

Not true. The selector switch is ambi (on the right side and left side), the bolt catch is on the right side, the mag release can be upgraded to a Norgon Ambi.

The real point for these rifles is- no more extraction detrius and ejected casings winging in front of the left handed shooter's face (and non-dominant eye).

I have a good friend who is right handed but left eye dominant. Really buggered him up when he started shooting.

no, they're compliments of the right handed models- just like the dual mg 34/4s- one ejects from the right, the other left-twice as much lead on target

Well it would be much easier slinging one of these rifles for a lefty shooter. Plus I'm always catching little shards of hot fragments by my right ear and cheek that come spewing out of the rifle. It a pain in the ass.
