Hey all,

So a friend of mine is going to Russia for a sightseeing trip, and we're both pretty interested in Russian/communist military stuff.
What kind of stuff should he keep his eyes out for? He's doing the trans-Siberian thing, and possibly stopping in Beijing on the way back.
Obviously it would have to be Canadian legal, but I really have no idea what kind of things (bayonets, web gear, etc) would be available.

Anyone done this kind of thing before?

If you can find some of this vodka, that would be cool.

the problem is not Canadian law it is Russian law. It is Illegal to remove most military items from Russia.

... Unless you're invading a neighboring country - then go ahead!

Don't even have to bring anything back, just hide as much ammunition/weapons as you can - one less bullet for them to use on innocents.

I'm obvi kidding. Wish it made a difference
