SP-01 trigger jamming

I've shot about 1,500 rounds through a new SP-01 with very few problems. The trigger pull has become smoother and I've also changed to a lighter (14#) recoil spring. Ever since I got it though, I've noticed that occasionally the trigger would jam at the end of the double action pull. It seems that unless the trigger is pulled exactly straight back it will not release the hammer. If I pull the trigger back and it jams, and then release the trigger slightly, it will fire. This is happening more regularly now and I'm not sure what to do and it could be dangerous. I kept it heavily oiled and thought that might be a problem so have thoroughly cleaned it out with solvent, blown it dry and only very lightly lubed it but the problem is still occurring.
Has anyone else experienced this or have a solution?

I don't have an answer for you. Trigger problems should be corrected by a gunsmith. Guntech on the island (Brentwood Bay) may be able to help you out. He is a CGN member.

Thanks StoneHorse. I've put a call in to Guntech and Gunnar and will try another forum as well just in case someone may have an answer.

I think London Arms in Ontario is the distributor / repair depot for CZ in Canada. Your pistol should still be under warranty, why not call them at 1-416-675-1322 and see what they say.
