I picked up my CZ 75 SP-01 from the store today! I think I'm in love with it. :)

I spent about an hour just looking it over, cycling snapcaps through it, smiling at it, tickling it under the chin and telling it was a pretty gun it is.

The only thing I didn't think to check before I bought was in relation to loading a mazagine. Rather than having a little knob that lowers the follower as you slip ammo in, it has a little plastic contraption with a follower-depresser on it that you slip over the mag and feed the cartridges in through.

I'm looking forward to being able to get out and fire it once I'm finished my probation at the club.

Congrats on the new toy.

The mag design is the same as any full size centerfire double stack. The mag loading tool is optional. You can load the mags straight with just your hands if you want. It's faster.
 
.22's are so convenient with their little knob thing. Loading the magazines with the reloader might make it easier on your thumbs, and the springs will get easier to depress over time.

I'm not certain, however the SP-01 is pretty much a 75 with tritium sights, polymer finish and an accessory rail.. so it may be compatible.

I'd email CZ or check with a dealer to be certain.
