I was at Waterford this past weekend for the BB course with my SP01 tactical - decocker version. So far the course has been a LOT of fun. The gun performed great with my reloads. The tactical sights & 11lbs/14lbs springs made a huge difference. I just love this gun.
Anyway, one thing came up during the course that I need your help with. The SP01 tactical version does not have an external safety. When you decocke, the hammer is left at the half way position. During practice at the BB, one of the instructors asked me to fully lower the hammer. He also showed me the rule book which states that the hammer needs to be all the way down in production division and start from DA.
I told him that I read somewhere that wherever the decocker leaves the hammer is considered fully decocked. Was I wrong? Do I have to lower the hammer all the way?
Thanks
