SP01 Shadow

A source on CZshooters.com states the CZ-UB version of the Shadow has the 85 trigger. This may not be true with the CZ-USA version of the Shadow.

there were actually two versions of the Shadow....

CZ-USA's version and CZ-UB's version..
the CZ-UB version was rolllmarked shadow and offered the gee whiz parts..
the CZ-USA version was not rollmarked and came through the custom shop.

The latest version of the SP01 in the other parts of the world is supposed to be the Shadow..Australian shooters are getting them with the new sights, no FPB, CZ85 trigger, SA style ambi safeties and a slightly longer barrel. A shooter in Denmark said that is the version they are getting too.

The price they are quoting is essentially the same if you order an upgraded SP01 from CZ custom shop.

Whether they are using a new program to cut a higher undercut on the triggerguard and beavertail, I have not seen or heard this from any shooter that has seen both guns side by side..but only from the CZ-UB website.

a lot of the changes and confusion on what is what is coming from what USPSA and IPSC say is legal for production division competition. So from the factory it is good to see the gun come with the better sights, hammer, trigger, and safeties as IPSC rules are pretty stringent on what can and cannot be done.
USPSA rules are little more open...so adding sights, parts for action job, etc is pretty run of the mill...you just cannot get too creative and take metal on or off..

Denmark and Australia both have a 120mm barrel limit for semi-auto pistols, so they're probably not the best examples to use, as they're not "standard" models.
