It wouldn't surprise me if it was 2013 before we saw them here in Canada, Ruger doesn't expect to be taking orders for a few months, so it's likely to be Fall before they're producing for new orders. If they weren't ordered early.......
 
Thanks for the replies even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear. I had heard that Ruger was not taking orders for awhile and though it's good to know that they are doing so well that they can't keep up with orders it sucks that we have to wait so long for new products.
 
They are not taking orders but that doesn't mean they aren't making guns. This model has been out for over 6 months in the US so I'm still hopeful that some will trickle north this summer.
Best to get on a wait list somewhere if you want to be in the first wave!

they should have been ordered already considering they came out about a year ago
 
Well hopefully one of the dummies that is dumb enough to be a gun retailer in Canada was smart enough to place an order when it was announced as they are bound to collect dust on the shelf of any retailer dumb enough to order one.

(edit never mind)....words to talk by.

Bottom line is when ever they get here is when they will get here.

I'm hopeful it will be this summer and I don't have any inside information that would lead me to believe otherwise at this point.

It's probably a safer position to assume the worst and then be happy if it arrives sooner.
 
They're probably coming in the same shipment with the Ruger 1911s and the 4.2" Redhawks.

Maybe the truck has a flat tire or something?
