Just out of curiousity, I am wondering what a FR8 rifle would go for.

From what I have seen, they are very interesting looking, especially with that setup for the bayonet/muzzle.

Condition is everything, very good to excellent should be in $375-$450,even $500 with a bayonet. Depend also how much a buyer is willing to pay. I had a FR7 and i sold it last year for $400 shipped if i remember correctly, very good+ with excellent bore.

They do work best with the bolt handle bent down like on a K98k, otherwise you keep keep hitting the rear sight base with fingers.

I prefer the straight bolt myself..... I've never noticed any issues with fingers and the rear sight base?

Yah I usually remove some skin from my fingers that way.

FR-7 (IIRC) has the bent bolt handle.

A decent FR 8 is worth around $450 with matching numbers, sling, bayonet and the cleaning kit in the front tube.
