Spare main spring in the CZ Shadow box

Yeah, it is def part 21 "Main Spring". How do we know the weight? Give it a try I suppose? (If I can tell the difference)

if i trust the clerk,it's a 13 pound. but no mention on the spare specs in the book.

Well....I tried my spare when I first got my gun...no difference I could feel. So I contacted CZ Custom and checked out the CZ Forum and they both confirmed my impression....they are the same spring.

But try it....maybe you have the exception to the rule....

Meh, I'm not putting a spring in my pistol unless I know exactly what it is for 100% sure. That spare spring went the wayside at some point.

Main spring = hammer spring....affects DA trigger pull....I put a 13lb in my gun for IPSC Production. If you want to reduce your DA pull (and don't plan to shoot Production with your gun) you can cut 1 or 2 coils off the spring.

I tried this with a standard 18# spring and it still didn't lessen the trigger pull as much as the 13# spring, although it did lower it noticeably (about 12 lbs to 9 lbs). Should still work for IPSC.
