Spatsizi Plateau Question

A friend got a LEH draw for sheep 6-20a and Im tagging along. Just curious if goat is open in that area or LEH. The regs a blured (to me) might be plan as day to others. I have a phone call into the Local authority but no answer yet.

Don't take the internet's word for it, go straight to the regs, they're pretty darn clear cut generally.

if you do go there , keep a eye out . a guy I used to work with disappeared while hunting in that area about 10 years ago and was never found ( presumed dead ) .

So its open to goat as the regs say 6-17 to 6-30 but thee pic says sheep and caribou LEH only ??

Yes indeed, sheep and caribou are LEH only, and 6-19/20 is open for goats (over the counter tag) with a bag limit of one. If a species is LEH it's listed in the LEH synopsis, not the regular synopsis. Good hunting to you, study hard on nanny / billy it's far harder than you'll expect in field conditions, Alaska has a great test online. Also LEH draw results shouldn't be out for some time, applications close on the 27th I believe, then we wait for the draw.

Unfortunately I've become my own example of why you don't ask the Internet about regs, you are quite right and I don't hunt 6-19/20.
