If the 180gr Partitions shoot well, I'd use them.

Nothing in north america can shake off a solid hit wiht a 180gr partition, IMHO.

I do not know what is Federal using to load their 180 HE Partition, but it's fast and deadly. The rifle kicks like a mule (for a 308) but it kills at the other end too.
It will probably kill my M14 too, so I have to use 165 Interbonds or Scirocco for that particular rifle.
