In my opinion, nothing beats a Spearhead Machine muzzle brake.

They look amazing, fit perfectly, reduce recoil by 30-40% and are made in Canada.

Way nicer than a Ranger Point Brake.

I have two Spearhead Machine brakes, absolutely incredible to say the least.

Buy one, you will not be disappointed!.......:)

Thank you for the kind words and support Thunderhog, we truly appreciate it.

Would the Spearhead Machine 2 baffle radial muzzle brake for either the Henry or Marlin, fit the Pedersoli BoarBuster in 45-70?

Hello Jay,

Thank you for your interest and inquiry, we sincerely appreciate it.

I've not measured the Pedersoli BoarBuster in 45-70 myself but doing a quick search an article mentioned its 5/8-24 threads. If this is the case, the Henry X version will fit, although the back taper may not match the barrel diameter exactly, as the Henry X version tapers to .750 to match the Henry X barrel profile.

A approximate way to see if you have 5/8-24 is to caliper the outside diameter of the threads, it should be close to but not exceed .625". Then lock your calipers to .041", .083", and .125" and see if the calipers spacing line up with the spacing of the crest on the threads. Or if you have a 5/8-24 muzzle device laying around, you can try screwing it on.

Any questions please don't hesitate to contact, we're here for you. Thank you once again Jay.

Best regards,
-Kevin

Any intention to make a brake for the Henry X 44 mag?

Hello wallz,

Thank you for your interest and inquiry.

Our Henry X brake in 45 cal would also work for the Henry big boy X in 44 mag as they are both 5/8-24 muzzle threads. The 45 cal brake exit bore diameter also clears the 44 mag bullet diameter.

Although I've not measured the barrel diameter on the Big boy X yet, but if its like the Henry X model where the barrel diameter is .750", then the back taper will mate exactly.

Any questions please don't hesitate to contact. Thank you graciously for your interest and we look forward to being a part of your shooting excellence.

Best regards,
-Kevin

I know it's a long shot, but any plans for one for the long ranger express with the threaded heavy barrel in 223?

Hello Michael94,

Thank you for your interest and inquiry.

We have made the 2 baffle radial brake in 1/2-28 in 223 caliber and we are expecting them back from black nitriding next week.

Order placed!

Tip of the hat to Kevin for his top notch customer service.

Cheers

How is it nicer than the RR? More recoil reduction? Nicer finish?

Did you shoot the two breaks back to back with the same caliber?

No order here but just wanted to say those are really nice and great looking machining work...happy to see them made in Canada!

Thank you for the kind words Joel, we're super proud to be a part of the Canadian shooting community.

More offerings and calibers in the works, will have brakes available for Chiappa and Pedersoli soon after they are back from black nitride.
