Spearhead Machine Titanium 2 baffle radial muzzle brake -Also avalible in stainless-

Hello Thunderhog,

Thank you very kindly for your kind words, we are very grateful for your great feedback.

The edge near the barrel does have a .010 edge break chamfer to preserve shoulder contact up to .840 diameter, I can definitely increase the chamfer larger for the 45-70 brake as it fits on to a more slender diameter, I'm sure a larger chamfer will make it more aesthetically pleasing.

You're very welcome Thunderhog, we sincerely appreciate and value being a part of your shooting excellence.

Cheers

My apologies, I forgot to say how extremely fast your shipping was, and it was packaged perfectly.

You will definitely see my business again.

Thanks Kevin.

Once I decide which gun to run it on, I’m going to hopefully take it out this weekend and send some spicy 45-70 down range to really put it to the test, the muzzle brake being slightly larger doesn’t really bother me, I just wish it was satin stainless like the trapper as that’s the one I wanted to brake but it might just have to go on the SBL as it’s a perfect match.

Hello Tvw,

Thank you very kindly for your interest and the Canadian support, we sincerely appreciate it.

We're awaiting feedback to see if there is anything we can improve before our next batch. Thank you very kindly and we look forward to being a part of your shooting excellence.

Any plans for a Ti gill brake or smaller diameter version this one?

3 port self timing titanium brake completed, amazingly light at 64 grams. First 2 is on the way to Hirsch precision. They will have the first batch.

Just have them bead blast it and it will then be a satin finish . RJ

Are you interested in making a side port brake that can be turned down to match the contour of your barrel by a gunsmith? 1/2x28 so we can bring it down to .65 ish

Hello Slimbo,

Thank you for your interest and inquiry, we sincerely appreciate it very much.

We do have plans to make a slimmer version with side ports for the hunting barrel profiles, although one that can be turned downed flush to .650 with the side ports would be tricky unless the port height length is small enough to still provide structural integrity for safety when turned down. Of course a larger diameter brake with small ports height can be made, but we do lose a bit of the baffle surface for efficiency. Maybe back tapering to fit would work?

If we made our 2 baffle radial brake in 1/2-28, then it can be safely turned down to .650

Thank you once again and we look forward to the opportunity to be a part of your shooting excellence.

Best regards,
-Kevin

This for sure, a bead blast would make a perfect match to the Ruger/Marlin 1895 45-70 Trapper.

I have not seen a nicer muzzle brake made yet in Canada!

Thank you again Kevin.......:)

Yep, we now offer satin finishes for the Trapper model.

Thank you for your support and kind words Thunderhog, I sincerely appreciate it.

Cheers,
-Kevin
