And cool beards. Only special forces can grow the beards right. Rumour has it Dusty Hill and Billy Simmons of ZZ Top are both retired Delta Force.
Its all about beards and hands in the pockets
And of course the ability to wear your Oakleys ON your head
and talk about combat dynamics, disruptive environments, etc...

Special forces is used a lot.
I know personally one guy in special forces and they are not all super uber tactical operator..... For one super skilled commando there is something like 10SF working around them in the field. The one you see with cool guns and kit are a very small % of special forces. Special forces in Canada is more about intelligence, data collection, infiltration and advisor rather than firefight commando.

Last ex I saw had about 20% max assaulters on a 100 man squadron. And I am not counting the officers.
As for the OP question...
Are you talking about the weapon actual accuracy or the marksmanship skills standards?
Most military weapons will shoot under 2-4 MOA. Do they get a better barrel? Weapons quality?
