Specter Arms MP5 Look-alike 10-22.

The grip is not right at all. If it's using a regular AR-15 grip mount, why not use something closer to the MP-5 grip. The Magpul MOE grip would probably be closest.

Why not just get a GSG 522-SD like this one I just picked up?

Are you making fun of us?

When have i ever made fun of you guys?
You aren't missing anything, I shot it for the first time today, they shipped it without an ejector, sending it back tomorrow.
For $300 I should have just bought another AK (now I am making fun :p )

Nope, I haven't paid too much attention to these .22's.
I thought these would have been allowed since they are basically airsoft with .22's mechanisms fitted in them.
I know the laws make no sense.

February 25, 2008: The RCMP’s FRT Department classified GSG-5 as prohibited weapon, claiming it to be HK-MP5 variant. The decision was entirely based on visual appearance, rather than technical facts. We have decided to dispute that decision. We retained T. Murray Rankin Q.C. of Heenan Blaikie to pursue a review of that decision and, if necessary, an appeal. We will further inform you of any developments on this matter.

From our website.

Best regards,
Scott

I have spent many hours at the range with the MP5 family and that little thing does not go with me. If you where looking for a weapon that looks like the MP5. I would wait and see what blueline situation turns out, the wait would be worth it the GSG 522-SD looks like a much much better look alike.

Was this the Company in Edmonton that produced the plastic Mp-5 over stock for the 10/22 about 3 years ago? I was looking on the web site and I believe it is the same stock they have listed as discontinued.

Yes, he was never really happy with the S-54 stock and obviously business showed for how many sold.

I personally like mine, but had to do quite a bit of modifications to it to get it to be a good stock. It had lots of potential, but didn't quite make it.
