Used one overseas and didn't like it. It's a good scope, but I didn't like having to flip a switch to go from 0x to 4x. I switched to an ACOG with Red dot on top and it is the best combat / tactical optic going. The only problem is cost. But I don't regret spending the money at all.

Curious how does the ACOG achieve going from 1x to 4x with less than a flip of a switch? Would like to understand the technology. And I presume it is 1x as 0x would be blackout.
