Sorry, wouldn't touch one until ELCAN eliminates the external/exposed adjustments.
With the external adjustment any moisture/sand/dirt/grit can get into the mechanisms, plus the front pivot is notorious for backing out.Had this happen to my ELCAN in the middle of a Service Rifle match. ELCAN made a couple of "band-aid" attempts at making the mount more sturdy but they are just that, a band-aid solution.
The illuminated reticle looks good as does the variable power feature though.
This is the BIG drawback to ELCAN products..............Great optics but sh*t mounts.........
Notice in combay situation where "operators" have a choice in optics, NONE choose ELCANs.............
