Spectre 10/22 Chassis - In Production - Pre-Order Now for August Delivery

The handguard length is about 7.5" inches from the trunnion screw. I don't have a 16" barrel available right now but I'll do a mockup for it. I think it will look quite good. The pictured rifle is about 14" with the flash hider.

I'm on the fence...like the looks etc but thinking my compensated 16.5" bull barrel might look goofy with the short forearm length. Any chance of having a longer barreled receiver to drop in the prototype stock and post up a pic?

Unfortunately I don't have the pictured prototype right now or a 16" barrel. However here's a picture with our rough very early prototype and a 16" AR barrel next to it. The 10/22 barrel will sit lower in the chassis but this shows roughly what it looks like. We chose this length so everything longer than 10" will work.

How I missed this till today is beyond me....but glad I got in on the pre-order in the nick of time....lol.

Looking for a 5/8x24 6.5 brake as well.

Our next production run of Hex Brakes should be done by the end of the month. While we don't have any 6.5mm brakes on it, our 5/8-24 308 brake works very well with 6.5mm calibers as well. The slightly larger bore has little to no impact on performance. We also have our Aegis-30 brake, which like our hex brake, works very well with 6.5mm calibers.

Both can be ordered here: https://spectreballistics.com/collections/muzzle-brakes

I got my chassis assembled over the weekend! A special thanks to Tristan at Spectre for shipping the chassis separately from the ammo at a great price overnight to get this to me for this past weekend so that my brother visiting from Saskatoon and I could build it up as a project Sunday night. I would also like to thank him for all the help in selecting the build parts for this, it turned out amazing and is a tack driver! Can't wait to get a nice scope on it (I used my AR scope on the weekend to test it) and one of the new Magpul bi-pods. Here are some pictures of it completed, sorry for the messy work bench, my tractor is in the shop. :ang3

And a lousy light picture from when I was sighting it in at the range. Yes the AR scope mount is way too tall for it but its all I had sitting around that I could just clip on.

I was hoping someone would know if the DAR-22 receiver fit.....and now I know. Looks like a great setup ya got there. You should list the components. Mine arrived in the mail yesterday and I was having a look at the overall machining and it is well done. Few machine marks, and the inside of the Mlok is sharp. Other than that I need to piece some items together and get it to the range.

I should let you know that the DAR-22 receiver is not a direct fit, I had to do some clearancing work on it but overall I am pleased with the results. Tristan is aware of the clearance issue and they are looking into it, perhaps they will be able to correct it in future production runs, it would be a simple fix. I can provide details if anyone wants of what I needed to do to clearance it. (PM ME).

I will update this post later today with a build list of this rifle. Its mostly all Dlask components.

Fastxr that looks great! Is that a 20" barrel in yours? I have a bull barrel in that length so I was wondering since it looks awesome and would like mine to look similar.
