Test fire!!! Video!?!? Test fire is always gd news
If it takes a few hundred extra to make it rock solid reliable, do it. I'm tired of all the cheapsters on here demanding cheap prices then crying like little babies when components fail.
Libs will just ban this when they come for the snip... I mean hunting rifles. Wake up.
The possibility of this being included in a ban is real. None of us know what they might or might not do.
That is why they should start making them and shipping them out and forget about being held up waiting for an FRT number that isn't even required. It is a bolt action. It is not semi auto capable. Under the current classification system there is no way this can be anything but non restricted.
Do as Wolverine, Kodiak and ATRS has done and send them out the door.
I will buy if you do.

Update: Yesterday we managed to test fire the Light Practical Carbine. From our test firing we have a few minor things to tweak with the bolt, but everything else is good. As for a video, we have a short clip on our instagram, and we will have more to come. For the first test firing we were more concerned with debugging a couple things, and staying warm.
There are many people in this thread who think we should ship these guns immediately without an FRT. We completely understand everyones excitement to get these guns. Unlike the Kodiak and ATRS offerings this gun is a 100% new design. It's not a variant of any existing non-restricted firearm. We will be getting an FRT for this gun. Being a bolt action we expect the FRT process to be much quicker than semi-automatic rifles.
Have you submitted anything for FRT?
Glad it's going well. Saw the video. Looks like a handy rifle. What would one need to do to change it to 9mm? If using one of those magwell kits, the lower would be ok. I know the bolt is proprietary, so would you need to come up with a 9mm bolt?
9mm or any pistol caliber would require a locked breach so you would need a custom bolt and barrel.
