Hey guys i got my hands on a LPC but i have some concerns. I have a bit of play between the two receivers more then my smith ar had. For a 800$ receiver made in Canada this seems off my scope wont hold zero. Do any of you have this problem? What should i do?
 
Most ARs have play, some more than others. Consensus by people way more experienced than me is that the play between the upper and lower doesn't affect accuracy.
You can put a small oring around the front takedown post if the play bugs you. The Renegade has some play as well.
As for the scope not holding zero, that's probably a separate issue. Check to make sure your rings, barrel and muzzle device aren't loose.
 
Thanks i will try that. My 600$ smith had little to zero play and it came as a complete rifle. It just sucks that a 800 receiver set couldn’t compare also being made in canada.
 
Easiest way to get rid of play is with a bit of electrical tape between the two halves.

It doesn't take very much.
