Speed kills, whats your varmint rig?

Accuracy is a given, but a valid point. Varmint caliber are inherently accurate.
But no matter how good a gun shoots, it does need a human behind the trigger.

My statement about the 250 was to ruffle feathers, I wanted someone to convince me to add a 250 to my collection. There really isn't a second rate gun, in the right hands.

Guess I'm the odd one. I use a 2506. 75gr vmax at 3550fps from a 22" barrel. It could do better but it hits exactly same poi as my hot loaded 117gr interlock. No changing scope zeros for groundhogs and coyotes to bear and deer loads

Btw. Groundhogs just explode

Fine choice in a gun, I know a few who think the same of it as you, not an easy one to find these days though. I have seen yotes shot with that gun, it isn't pretty! Love it!

Lol the first yote I shot with it ripped a nasty hole. I took it to my taxidermist buddy and asked if there was anything he could do with it. He said tan it and put a 8"x10" photo in the hole.

Haven't poked anything with this yet. Sako 75 .22-250, Leupold FXII 6x.

Tikka T3 LSS - .204R
Savage FCP-K - .223Rem (in build process)
Savage Pred 10 Max1 - 22-250 (traded for above)
Savage Pred 10 - .243Win

Should cover me from 3-3800fps nicely. Still thinking I might add in a 25-06, .260Rem or a 6.5SW/6.5CM for schnitz n giggles, that I'm an addict when it comes to varmint calibers..

I've got two 22-250's for varmints
788 remington
model 12 VLP savage

one 243 model 70 winchester

and one 7mm-08 model 700 BDL varmint barrel

Mine is the 240 Weatherby and screams out 75 grain NBT. Gun is the second bottom.

Edit: Missed the mark on bullet weight, pun intended, it's the 50 grain NBT kissing 4,100 fps.

Is that flashlight going to mess up barrel harmonics?

Not noticeably, this is 180 yards (the length of our backyard range). Has taken coyotes at 600 and a grasshopper at 100 lol

95gr SST, 42gr Hodgdon H4831SC, 2930 fps

.225. ? Your killing me!
I thought I was the only guy who liked them.
I wore one out proving to people at the gun club how good it was.
I sold it, I miss it.
So it's. 204 - 243 - 22-250. Now
