why dont you see them more ? were to get them in canada ?

any of you out there use them ?
 
There pretty pricey for one....not really my thing.

I'd rather practice loading from a belt pouch than a speedloader....it is really funny though when someone is using them a the whole clip ends up on the ground
 
Yeah, as Onagoth alluded to there is a learning curve to using them effectively. It's pretty funny to watch shells and pieces spewing everywhere when things go wrong ....... unless you happen to be the one trying to use them. Also a pain to run around with a pouch full of those things bouncing around on your thigh. Would definitely be a hindrance on some multigun courses of fire I've shot.
 
When you have a competent operator, they work as advertised, significantly speeding up your reload.

Miss the gate or get the angle even slightly wrong, and the whole set of shells goes flying. Quite a sight to see.

California Competition Works sells good speedloaders. Grab 4 shells, feed them in rapid succession.
 
One issue with them is that to stand a chance off indexing them you need to attach a "docking station" over the feed port. It straddles the port and bolts replace the trigger assembly bolts, meaning you can't use a side-saddle (BBB's velcro ones should still work).
