Has anyone had any luck finding speed loaders that will work for a 38S&W Victory or a S&W 2nd Model Hand Ejector in 455 webley?

I bought some 38 special speed loaders for K frame S&W's for my girlfriends victory thinking they should work but they don't. For some reason the cylinder release thumb switch is in the way and it interferes with the speedloader getting into position.

This really confuses me since I thought model 10's, M&P's, and Victories were all K frames and essentially the same.

I figured that a speed loader for an N frame S&W in 45 long colt would work well for my 455, but now I'm starting to wonder.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi i have a HKS 25-5 speed loader for 45 Long Colt or 454 Casull which works great for the Ruger Super Redhawk and the Model 25 Smith in 45 Long Colt but the 455 Webley MkII dont fit the speed loader as the base of the shell the (Rim) is a quite a bit larger then the 45 colt shell so there aren't any speed loaders probly not made for the 455 round so i guess were SOL LOL!!!

Is it possible that the Victory Model has a differently shaped cylinder release from newer K-Frames? These guns were built on the old "long action" and many parts are different.

The Prideaux Quick loader was made for .455 Webley back during WWI, but I don't think these are easy to find. Otherwise, if .45 Colt or .45 Auto Rim speedloaders don't work, I don't think there is anything readily available that will work.
