Hi all, just bought it off ebay and have no instructions. got some onfo from speedtimers.com . but i cant get a loud beep i can hear a fiant one if i put my ear to it. is there a way to adjust volume???? help me get this working.

The wire connection to the buzzer has likely come off , same thing happened to mine. I opened it up and resoldered the connection. 10 minutes to do, expect it isn't quite as loud as it used to be.

if it's a faint sounds, then it's most likly not a disconnected wire (you would hear nothing at all) but if you are hearing something (faint) then it's most likly the speaker/buzzer) and should be able to be fixed quite easily, by anyone with e a bit of elextronics skill..

But.. I'd still go back to the guy you bought it from (since I assume it was listed as "working" and give the guy grief about it, see if you can get your money back for it., it' not that hard to know if it does/doesn't work when it's shipped. ) you should at least get some money back if you have to repair it yourself.
