Just got done putting a speedfeed forend on my 870 and when I racked it the thing near jammed on me. It seems the rubber from the forend is getting wedged between the mag tube and the larger part of the barrel where it expands turning into the chamber.

Will this doozie eventually work itself out?

does it wedge on both sides or only one side ???

sounds like you have it mounted a bit cockeyed which is easy to do if you don;t put a screwdriver between the one side while tightening the screw thing down..... look at the action rails and make sure the stock is the same distance apart from them on both sides.

I just slip a screwdriver in there while tightening to insure correct spacing otherwise the torque of tightening will offset the stock.

looks like the forearm is hitting the receiver..maybe a tad tight, mine was too. I just took a little off to make the clearance more.

Fixed now.
