Hey guys, bought a speedfeed pistol grip stock off the EE for a good price, only catch was it didnt come with a bolt. So im trying to figure out how im going to mount this bad boy up.

I measured the stock and its overall length is a little under 13" including the buttpad. So im guessing i got the short length of pull version.

Can anyone take a pic of the bolt that is holding theirs on? or tell me what i need to get. It closed now but i was going to go to brafasco tomorrow and pick up a 12" bolt with a 1" wide washer. Will this be sufficient?

If i contacted speedfeed, would they send me new mounting hardware?

Call the company and ask about the bolt, they might even send you a free bee

+1.

i did exactly this when the stockset i ordered came with the wrong one. they had one out to me the next day free of charge. it was super painless!

Bumped this because I haven't solved this! What company did you contact? I called speedfeed is now safariland, so called and explained what I needed and they said they would pass it along to international order department. No word and my emails have gone unanswered.

I also went to brafasco and they don't have metric threaded bolts.

I need help guys!

There's nothing special about a stock bolt. You can buy the thread and length bolt that you want at any good hardware store.

Estimate the length that you need and then go to the hardware store. Take the bolt with you. (And, unless the hardware store is also a Gun Dealer, leave the shotgun in the car.)

go bye a piece of ready rod of the proper diameter and buy a lock washer and two nuts, cut to length needed insert, tighted, go shoot the #### out of yer gun.

Anyone know of anywhere on the internet i could order a bolt from?

I have searched but a bolt in 1/4-28 x 10 1/4" seems to be very rare.

I would prefer a bolt, but if i cant find one i will go with a piece of threaded rod.

sorry just saw this now!

well, i told them they sent me the wrong bolt with my stock. i then gave the nice lady the length of the bolt i had and requested the new one be longer. i THINK i dealt with the warranty dept? perhaps try calling back and instead of asking to buy one, just get pissed off and demand they ship the proper bolt out? haha i dunno... its been awhile and it went so smoothly at the time i didnt give it much more thought!
