Why does Speer sell their bullets as .263 vs the normal(at least it seems).264?

On their website they list the diameter as .264. Perhaps there is a misprint in the information you have look at or a calibration issue with your measuring equipment?

Haven't measured them I have a box that I just picked up from the EE as well as a Speer manual from the 80's and both have .263.

That's what I was guessing I was unsure as there was no mention of the diameter variances of it in looking at five reloading manuals. Does this variance stem from the older actions? Are all/most modern actions/barrels .264?
I measured a box of .264 Nosler Partitions (125 gr) once and they were smaller than .264 as well.
I didn't do it until well after I had shot a pile of deer and targets so I didn't worry about it.
Probably the metric thing.

I figured it wasn't anything to worry about. More a curiosity thing for me.
