My Speer book indicates a starting load for a 225 gr BTSP of 74 gr of RL 19 with a max load of 78 gr. Data for any other 225 gr bullet is much lower, some max at 74 gr. Does this data seem reliable or is it some kind of printing error? has anybody used this data and are you still around to talk about it? The max load seems to be listed as 2-4 gr higher than other data I have found.

My book says the same but 78 is compressed. I tried RL powders not to that amount but had better luck with IMR 7828

I have used 78 grains with the 210 Partition without issue, but only 75 grains with the 225. I would approach carefully from below.
That being said, RL 19 is the perfect match with the 338. Dave.
