speer bullets

got a deal on some .308 speer 180 grain spitzers sp..
as ive neaver used these before..
are they good for big game?target practice?or just good for slingshot ammo?

my father in-law loads his 7mm Rem mag with speer 160gr SBT, and his gun will shoot under an inch all day long with them , and I think it is 25 or 26 moose he droped using speer bullets. He swears by them

I really like speer hot cors in my .308 3/4" or less and never lost a bear or deer

Great bullets, cool package too. 180gr in .308 whoever makes them will kill anything just fine.

I just quit using them last year in my 308 for deer.
They are accurate but they seem to do excessive damage.

I've had good luck with them esp the 250gr 35cal.

I esp like the fact that they don't have a cannalure.

in something like a savage 99, they're great- my only complaint is that they don't come in bulk-
