Anyone try or thinking of trying the new Speer DeepCurl bullets this season? I'm contemplating loading some 140's for my dad's 6.5swede T3.

***edit*** I think I'll buy a box and also have BCSteve test them out in his mega 6.5mm bullet test, that is if he's still thinking about doing a part deux.
 
I and my son's are going to try the Federal Fusion bullets 95gr. in a 243, 130gr. in 270win & WSM, 165gr. in 30-06, 300 WSM & RSAUM. The same type of bullet as the DeepCurl just in boat tail I'm told and, I think Fusion platted may be a better description check out the Federal Fusion web site its not like platting a bumper.

I just checked out the Federal Fusion info on their site.

I was glad to see they have a loading for the 6.5x55 in a 140gr projectile. I was a little dissapointed to see that, even with very new products, they are still only pushing 140's at 2550 fps...
 
Northman999 do they offer the 140gr 6.5x55 in there loaded ammo if they do I would check out it for (fps) and I would give Federal a call you most likeley will get an answering machine I did hope they call back soon or I'm calling speer for load data see if they can help.

Yeah...too bad.

They load the ammo for the old guns out there so the legal team gets to decide how much powder goes into the case .
