Speer Lawman - marked primers

I got a couple boxes of the stuff in .40S&W the other day and noticed the primers are marked "CF". First time I've ever seen an inscription on primers.

Is this always the case with Lawman ammo? What's the CF stand for, centre fire?

"Clean Fire". No mercury or other toxic primer byproducts. LEO's shoot primarily indoors and Clean-fire ammo from all the major makers helps keep airborne lead etc down. It's not uncommon for instructors to be off work with high levels of lead in their body. Very very painful and tough recovery. Also Clean-fire ammo will usually have a totally encapsulated bullet with no lead exposed and the primers take a good hard impact to ignite given their chemistry. So may may not work well with doctored target guns but great for service pistols.
