Are these carried by any dealers in Canada? It seems Chiappa makes them in non-obsolete calibres (e.g. 45LC) as well as the 50-something rimfire.

I have one of these (45 L.C.) on hand for immediate delivery.

Brand new and unfired in the original box with all papers.

Just contact me by PM

Aside from the "cool" factor, what is it that folks would use these guns for? I think they only hold 6 to 8 rounds of 45 Colt no? So no good for SASS matches as a main match gun. Also, even if you could have a 10 round mag capacity, the having to lever then #### the hammer to fire would sure slow you down (I believe I have the right gun).

The gun might prove interesting the the side matches like the long range rifle match, where accuracy is the key without speed being a factor.

Yep, that's what I want it for: 100 yard pistol calibre side matches.
I have .45-70's for big bore matches, that I keep set up and dedicated for 100, 200 and 300 yards

Country Classics Shooting Supplies can get them for you. I just got a Spencer carbine in 56-50. Which is actually 50 caliber and is centerfire now.
