$ Spent on Ammo Per Range Trip

I hand load everything except .22lr and the range is out the back door. So it ranges from 8 cents to 800$. The high being buddies are over and it hours of entertainment :)

I'd say between $20 and $100, really depends what I'm shooting and how long I feel like staying. Today was an average day at around $60. Most of my shooting is .38 spl which I reload for $15/100, so 100 of those and a couple boxes of .22lr is only about $20. Sometimes I'll go wild and shoot off a few hundred .223, some .308, and a bunch of 9mm too. I reload all of those except 9mm so I get a good shooting session in for $100.

For me, a trip to the range happens 2 to 3 times per week during warmer weather and once or twice a week when it's cold.
Ammo costs for range trips vary widely - generally in the $50 to $150 range
I'm guessing the annual cost would be about $5k - $7k (I reload most of the ammo)

Was at the range yesterday. 200rds of 9mm, $48 and change.

Forgot about a few rounds of 38 & 357, so around $65 total. Average cost is probably about $80.

I spent 4K this year so far on ammo and training. I usually buy my ammo for the year on Boxing day :) or whenever the dealers have big sales.

1 range trip is usually 500 rounds of 556, 200 rounds of .308 and 300-500 rounds of X39 and 200 of 54R plus a couple brick of .22's for the wife and kids.

I would shoot more but I have to work a 2nd job to pay for my hobby :( which takes up most of my free time...lol.. and now I got into pistol shooting again so I have to get more 9mm ammo and pay for stupid range fees... grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I should've taken up stamp collecting....lol....

Man, I usually shoot off 200 rounds of 45 and 250 rounds of 9mm, then 25 shells of 12 gauge slug. I figure I spend about $250 per trip including gas. I go 4 to 5 times a year. Expensive hobby.

That's a brilliant idea Dilli! Buy stamps and put holes in them at 200yds! Way to combine hobbies!

I don't think stamp collecting will be any cheaper.

I'm finding I shoot bolts more now, just picked up a weatherby vanguard and am working up a load for it as I just started reloading so lately it's been 50 round of 308 at around a buck a round depending on bullet selection. I'll also shoot a few groups with my mosin so 20-30 rounds of 7.62x54r at .75c a round. So call it a hundred bucks including gas per trip.

The most I've spent on ammo a trip is $250 the day I shot a whole case of 1200 7.62x39 with my sks. Damn thing was so hot the hand guard was smoldering about to catch fire and the sight picture was a mirage. Was a super fun day. I love Russian small arms, they can take a beating.
