Sold Pending Funds.
SOLD is when the money is in your hands, SPF is when the deal is agreed and the money is on the way. SPF can change back to FOR SALE if the money never shows up.
Right, I understand that. I'm not against not using the special status that means a deal is always (edit: meant "almost") done...I'm more against the fact, or rather I don't quite understand why people do this, that sellers replace the price of the rifle for the accronym SPF.
Example, a rifle is listed as follows:
Remington 700 BDL 30-06 for sale, 2 extra mags. Asking 500$
You go back a few days later and the post reads:
Remington 700 BDL 30-06 for sale, 2 extra mags. Asking SPF$
I'd rather think it should look like this:
Remington 700 BDL 30-06 for sale, 2 extra mags. Asking 500$ (SPF)
Now in 2 months when another guys tries to sell one for 800$ and I'm finally ready to purchase, I won't be able to see what they were going for...
If people are allowed to do this, shouldn't be wipe out everything older than 30 days in the EE? Those old posts are completely useless, no?
Maybe I'm just missing something...
