Is there anyone in Calgary area that sells SPG lube?

No that I am aware of. Try Dave Patterson (SchuetzenDave) pttrsndv@telusplanet.net he is the maker of Alberta Schuetzen Lube. A good number of BPCR competitors in Canada and the USA use his lube. Very similar to SPG. He is in St Albert

Daves stuff is very good but if you want to extend your hobby of bpcr start making your own blend.
Not hard to do and there is a ton of recipes on line.

Dave's lube is pretty good. It has a higher melting point than any of the other lubes I've used.

I do make my own with beeswax and olive oil that has worked really well for rifles and pistols but I just wanted to give SPG a try.

Read Paul Mathew' book on BP lubes. I use his "Premium" lube and it works very well. I conducted a test of 50 rounds with my 40-65. Cartridges were loaded with 55 grs FFg under a 400 Gr Snover bullet. 10 shots were fired on 5 different targets at 100 yds, with NO cleaning of any kind, with no loss of accuracy! At the end of the test, what little fouling was there was easily removed with a few patches moistened with "Moose milk" I gave a stick to fellow BP shooter here in Sudbury and now he uses nothing else!

I saw it at Rusty woods and will probably order it from there. Was hoping someone in Calgary area would have it. I have some things coming from USA that seem to be stalled at customs so not doing that.
