SphinX AT2000S in the House😉

I spent a few years working behind a lathe and mill in a machine shop. When you look how they machined that frame out of a solid billet of stainless steel, and look at the checkering on the front and back straps, and generally just consider the hand fitting and finish on the Sphinx.....it is insanely excellent. Really. The quality is second to none, and way way beyond my skill set I can assure you. I just have to take my hat off to those crazy little Swiss watch/gun makers. I've experienced a fair bit of seller's remorse on this one, the only consolation is that Keith is good people and I know he appreciates what he has. If I can land a giant Blue fin tuna next month when I go fishing out of Hobart (Tasmania), it will all be worth it....the Sphinx is paying for my charter! And if I do land a fatty, you better believe I'll be posting a pic on this thread. Not going to jinx it.....but please please God......

I didn’t know that bro… That is awesome! And yes, we will want to see it!!

Holy mackerel, did you get another one!?

Yeah I know, crazy obsessions …
This is my shooter, the other one (for now) sits in the corner looking pretty. This thing shoots like a laser beam… It’s almost like cheating. it’s still not even broken in. Absolutely incredible trigger…

The pretty two-tone one came from Twisted Canuck, here on the forum, Brand new, unfired, in the box.
When I examined it, I could not believe the workmanship, the quality, the tolerances AND the trigger! Incredible trigger.… So I was on the lookout searching for another one, and I just happened to find the blued one, amazingly enough, the frame on the all blued one is the exact stainless steel of the two-tone one, its just covered up … they both weigh 38 ounces

I’m tempted to take the frame down to the stainless steel but, I have mixed feelings, it’s kind of nice to have an all-blued one… It has a cool look to it

I really like the businesslike look of the all-blued one (and the grips go really well too).
