sphinx for production

At 3000$ and over for a Production gun, I'm not sure that a lot of people use those. Besides, I heard that they were having a lot of problem with the frame cracking:bsFlag:! Not bad! For 3000$, you get an heavier CZ Shadow that will eventually crack! Might as well by 4 Shadows...:D

Just checking,...thanks for the info. I was wondering why I don't see them listed on Wolverines website or even the Sabre USA website.

I guess I am going to get into another stock2,..maybe gunkote this time:cool:

I saw one locally,...looks pretty sharp. Just like the LC 2 that I posted the link to...except minus the mag well of course

Well,...I went with the STock 2 in Gunkote,...stainless slide release, thumb safety,.etc. Just experimenting with grips. The OEM were painted with Krylon in Ivory white,...sort of the look I want, but I have plans for something similiar to the Punisher theme,...jsut because..LOL

What is good about the Gun kote,..is that it smooths everything on the gun including internal cavities. IT also makes for a very tight slide to frame fit.

wow,...I guess I just missed this non-sensical rule (or just did not understand it well enough). Apparently I can not paint my OEM grips (which these are) and stay in production division,..but I can paint my aftermarket grips and even laser etch them. So when I get Henning grips, I can paint and laser etch them. That is a rule that I can live without. "0" advantage to me, but would look cool. I guess coolness loses out. I guess this rule is in place so people don't paint their grips with a filler type paint (ie: textured paint, like you would use to create a sandpaper like feel??!). I usually put grip tape on my grips anyhow, so this is irrelevant. That is my rant for the day. Back to Christmas cheer.....carry-on!!LOL

Hey Mo - yeah, it's a dumb rule - but it's a rule :( (saw your thread on GV) - if you have issues getting that paint off, get the grips to me and I'll beadblast 'em off in my cabinet.

thanks Sean, I will try the wifes nail polish remover,...lots of it. IF not I will take you up on that offer.
