My husband got a nice little buck at 7:30am!

Now he can watch the kids and I can try my luck tomorrow.

I've got two buddies that are out today... Sadly, I won't be out till Friday at the earliest...

What is good news is the last winter was really easy on the deer heard here in N.B., so there should be lots of deer running about... FINGERS crossed!

Looks like I won't be getting out to try my luck after all. Apparently my husband is not done hunting, birds are still available. Since I'm going away Thursday and he "has the kids" through to Tuesday; he needs to spend a lot of time hunting now.

Oh well, it is his vacation.

Novemeber is great for hunting. Got two weeks off to do just that, one week with my dad and friends in camp, then another around home. Can't wait, I am counting down the hours.
