The ORA Sporting Rifle Shoot (aka Vintage Rifle) was shot today. Rifles included a pair of Winchester M94's in 30-30. They were only shot at 100 yards. A Lee Enfield with a Weaver 2.5X scope did very well (good shooter) and a modified Mosin Nagant also did very well.

The AR-15s and M14s did well too, but we expected that.

We shot standing at 100. Prone at 200 and 300.

If you want on the mailing list for the next shoot, drop me a pm with your name and email address.

Excellent shoot, perfect weather, good company. I even went home with two bottles of wine, how good is that. Thanks Ganderite for running these shoots!

Was outstanding event .. extremely well run and very informative ... apparently my 'sub-minute' of angle keyboard has been lying to me! The best part is that everyone is positive, non-judgemental -- and it was a lot of fun.

FOR the record ... Ganderite is too modest to mention that he shot highest aggregate of the day which included shooting the STANDING 100 yd Deliberate, Snap and Moving Target with his 30/30 Winchester. In fact his 100 ag was second highest 100 yd score by a big margin -- with a Winchester '94 with open sights!!! It was pretty fancy shooting.
