Spot and stalk coyote

Spotted this big male sleeping on a snow drift today about 800 yards out. Was able to get within 250 yards. Kinda looked like a lump of dirty snow, but 22 power on the scope I could see an ear. 75gr (223) amax through the top of the skull. Saw a leg fly up in the air and it was over. I guess it makes it easier to stalk when they don't wake up. Snow was kinda crunchy so didn't want to spook it.

Yeah, it never woke up. The wind was enough to cover my sound within 250 yards.
