I hope I can find something in the 175-200$ range to do what I need.
I want to be able to spot a .22 / 9mm from 100-150ft.. It would be my first spotting
scope.. I know the terminology, but I need a little assitance.

thanks in advance,
Geo

I bought a Tasco scope at Pricess Auto for $30 on sale. Is is a 15-45 zoom. Optics are a little dark at full zoom but it works just fine for targets out to 200m. For the price, you can't go wrong it even came in a hard case. Spend more money on your firearm optics.

Hey netguy - I am in Edmonton, which PA did you find it at - their website says they are not currently carrying it. Any information is appreciated.

I have a Bushnell 45x that I bought used for $45...it works fine on everything to 100 yards...including .22...better a hand held zeiss binoc...or something better on your firearm...

I finally visited princess auto, they didn't have any scopes... on the plus side I bought an anno tin/box. (Didn't know they stocked them)

I guess its a preference. I didn't like using my binoculars at the range... probably means I need a better pair.
haven't found any sales locally. might try amazon..

A Celestron Ultama 80 would be a great buy mine was around $220.00 and works well from 20M to 200M with out a hitch..

I bought a cheaper one and traded up to this one..
