This pic shows the 2W 2.4Ghz Tx and RX (offshore), the LCD monitor and the 2 LIPO batt packs.
Missing is the monitor wire harness (figured you guys knew what wires looked like) and tripods/bases and of course the camera.
I just use the family digi cam Canon SX100 w/ 10X zoom. Easier if you have a video cam with a constant output feed.
I have RC stuff so had these packs kicking around. 1500mAh packs so I get around 5 hours of run time. You can use any lead 12V batt.
All stuff is considered 12V - auto stuff. They will all run from 9V to 12V so you have alot of options for power.
Distance is a big unknown. This TX/RX gets around 700yds line of sight before you loose signal. A better receiving antennae is supposed to get you to 1000yds?
The TX/RX is off Ebay - just make sure they use RCA plugs and have the same video operating language for NAmerica.
Simple, not expensive and works just fine. Image quality could be better but I assume it is the low res output from the camera.
Hope to try a video camera later to see if image quality can be improved. Of course, you can see bullet holes in a white target but in the black is not easy.
There you go.
