Spotting scope for sport pistol and the range?

Is there a spotting scope that will do both or should I look at picking up two which better suits the different distances?

I have been reading good stuff about the athlon talos 20-60x80.

The important issue is the 'long distance' use. Are you shooting targets at 100 or 300 yds ? I have an older Celestron Cavalry model 25-75x70 that I can see 22/223 bullet holes at 175 yds on white paper, black target rings are not as visible. I use 3/4" sticky-dots from dollar store for POA on poster board - also Dollar store, 2/$1.25. For short range I space at ca 4-6", for 175 I space ca 8-12" depending on the rifle.
PS - The Celestron was ca $150 20 years ago. There are similar ones on amazon now from ca $100 Up. Celestron is a mfr of home Astronomical scopes as well as spotters. Some negative reviews are obviously 'uninformed users'.
And I use a 45* scope with a full-size photog tripod, not a bench mount straight scope.

For pistol bulls eye I'll be 25 yards, the other will be my CZ 22 shooting 100 to 300.
Celestron Ultima 65 is currently on sale at CT which would work great for the 25 yards but probably useless for anything else. One feature its missing which I think would be helpful is being able to rotate it.
