Spotting Scope Recommendations: 100-300yards.

Looking for advice on a decent entry level spotting scope. Would like to see holes at 100 and 200 yards.
I am shooting a .308 and my budget is around $300.00. If I am out to lunch let me know and thanks as always for your help.

I like my Minox MD50 for that price. I don't know if you can find better optical quality for $300. If you can afford better, you will be glad you did in the long run.

It can't be done. Believe me, I have tried.

One newcomer in that price range, the Redfield Rampage 20X60X80, is worth giving a try. I have only seen it at LeBarron so far.

Thanks for the info, what would be the next step up in terms of price and product I should gear towards. Is the Leupold sx-1 Ventana worth a look?

one avenue is to buy used rather than settle for a scope that will not satisfy you .

Watch the series "sniper 101" on youtube....he has great advise for long range shooting and gives recommendations on what to buy.

One option that i went with was buying another scope....that way if your spending money you can always throw it on another rifle when need be if you are on a tight budget!

olivion or vortex are good and cheap,both can see 22 holes@ 200 yds
