Spotting Scope Recommendations please

My Konus KonusSport is supposed to be here this week. Its a 20-60 X 100.
I am told they are good enough to see hits at 1200 yards. I don't know if thats on painted steel or paper. They sell for $329 US + shipping. I'll check back after I get mine, with an update.

Could you post some pics and a review in a new thread after you get this scope? It sounds pretty interesting for the price.

I have an older Bushnell Spacemaster Kit with tripod and 15X45 eyepiece, comes in a black case and Grey metal Body. Also have the window mount as well.
If this interests you I'm interested in offers. Paid $449 for complete kit
I also have a bushnell Elite with 77mm objective very good glass and coatings can spot bullet holes to 300 M so this is very good quality also in as new condition in original box.
If this one interests you I'm open to offers. Paid $1195 new for this unit.

I have a 20-60x80 Bushnell ELITE that I intended to use for target shooting. Fantastic glass! I only ended up using it in the summer once for a birding trip...and now it's listed in the EE if anyone is interested.

Bushnell has been pretty good at making very high end products at middle of the road prices. Their spotting scopes are no exception. I recommend always going with their ELITE line if only for the warranty, not to mention the performance.

I had a chance to look through some others before I bought this one. The swarovski 80mm was a beauty! A bit long in the tooth though. The compact spotters were pretty good, but the 45mm objective models were a bit dull at distance with high magnification. The bargain spotters were fuzzy at high magnification and also fairly dull....hard on the eyes but they did the job.
