Spotting Scope under 1000

I would like to purchase a spotting scope for under 1000. Does anyone have any ideas of what would be the best for the money? Edit: oops. I meant 1500. I was looking at the Zeiss

Depends what your needs are? There are some good products that are less Than $1000.00. I have several different brands, Kowa ,Leica, Celestron, just depends on what I'm planning on doing, 100 meters, to 500 meters? FS

Would the zeiss at $1500 do 500 meter shooting?

No, that Zeiss costs much more. With the $1500 model you still have to do the shooting yourself.
