SPR Upper

Need recommendations for a good SPR upper that won't break the bank.

Was looking at the this one from BCM:

But wanted to get input first. With the exchange rate the way it is seems like a good time to buy from the US but if there is someone from Canada building a good upper want to hear about them too. ( Is NEA making any???)

Recommendations, reviews etc..

I do not believe that BCM is a listed exporter so you will not be able to get one of those, even with paperwork. 5.56 chambers and flashhiders also seem to be hit and miss for export items in general.

If it was me and I had the dough, I would have ATRS build me one on a mid weight profile stainless barrel with one of their new billet uppers.

ETA: I'm blind, I read SPR and SBR.. more than a slight difference, so I've erased what I wrote.

ATR is an excellent choice for a new build.

NEA has promised news regarding their uppers in the next few weeks. I'd be thrilled if they had an SPR length offering but AFAIK nothing has been confirmed. Alberta Tactical will build to your specs, but you're paying for custom work.
